The Dread Sleuth, formerly known as the Cobalstant Graveyard, is the seat of power of the undead members of the House of Cobalstant under Lord Hendrick Cobalstant. Once the resting grounds of the members of the House of Cobalstant and their bannermen, they were raised into undeath during the Battle of the Bite after the Forsaken crashed on the shores of the Ashen Coast. In the aftermath of the battle, the undead remained trapped in the graveyard, cloistered in by the nearby Fort Shieldwall. Unknown to the rest of the Duchy, in the following years the Cobalstants built upon the crypts, transforming them into the Dread Sleuth. The area, formerly dotted with crypts where the deceased Cobalstants laid, has been augmented with several outlying fortresses, including their new capitol of Daniel's Hold.
