Dun Garrak is the fortress home of the Wildhammers that remain on Duramyr. It has been the last line of defense since the Dwarves re-emerged from the ground after the fel-mist from Lord Vingeroth's Monolith faded. The lands surrounding it, once lush and verdant, are now charred black and tainted. The walls of the fortress are weathered and battered, and yet, the dwarves still stand.
Under Thane Molderan Thunderhammer, Lord of Dun Garrak, the Wildhammer have stood for years, weathering the Second War, Third War and now the Legion. However, there is no further hope for Dun Garrak. The Thunderhammer line was disgraced by Molderan’s choice to destroy the Legion Monolith over Duramyr and crashing it into Eonar's Gift, poisoning the water and spreading a fel-mist across the island. As a result, the people of the land have lost faith in their leader.
