Nathan Torrickson was a former Equine Guard who defected during the Grip, shortly after the alliance with the Tauren was made formal. Unwilling to work with any of the Horde due to the death of his brother to them, Torrickson found himself recruited by the Blades of None fairly quickly, his marshal skills put to use. Having a strong hatred of the Duchy for, what he believes, to be a betrayal of their morals; Torrickson has led several raids since then on Bear's Grasp.
Having personally slain Captain Matthews, Torrickson has ironically gone from a man of service to one who seeks misplaced revenge in ill reputed actions.
Torrickson was eventually convinced by Commander Flamewall to surrender and turn himself in after the Blades of Greymane investigated the farming hamlet of Durrendale, which had been harassed for weeks by the Blades of None.
He served under Flamewall with the rank of Sergeant, continuing his sentence of Life Service to the Blades of Greymane till he proved his loyalty beyond question. In the prelude to the War for Refuge Cove, he was ordered by the Commander to take a company north and harass the Crom'gar Supply Lines, pushing deeper into Val'sharah and taking out a whole Crom'gar Company. In doing so, he attracted the wrath of the Crom'gar War Council in doing so and was forced to fall back to Farimond after the battle shifted in their favor.
